Weekly Head of School Note - 9/20/21

Dear Summit Family,

Our school year is now in full stride as we enter week 5 of the academic year. We continue to embrace the opportunity we have with our students each day for learning, growth, and discovery in pursuit of our larger mission. Thank you for your continued support of our students and our Summit Family!

With five weeks remaining in the first academic quarter, this is also an important opportunity to check in with our students to identify successes, challenges, and set goals for the remainder of the quarter and school year. As a reminder, parents of students in grades 3-12 are able to access their student’s grades from the PowerSchool Parent Portal. Please feel free to contact your child’s teacher or our office if you have any questions.

A few additional updates and reminders…

With the highly fluid nature of our sports schedules this year, we are no longer including the sports schedule in the Bear Express. Please check emails from your coach as well as our website at https://www.summitschool.org/parent-resources for up-to- date game schedules.

Just a reminder that our Fall Afterschool Clubs registration is now open. Please visit our website at https://www.summitschool.org/after-school for more information on our clubs and to register. Note that Lego Robotics and “Let’s MAKE Something” are now open to grades 4-12.
