As a public charter school, Summit receives only 75% of the state and county funding of a traditional public school and zero funding for our facilities.

We rely 100% on private donations to build and maintain our campus.

Introducing our New High School Building

This facility will accommodate Summit’s growth and sustain current and future students, K-12.

  • Located on Summit’s existing land, this location for a new learning facility has proper acreage for 8+ classrooms, indoor/outdoor commons areas, and ample parking

  • This facility puts us on a path to success in achieving enrollment and financial sustainability goals – the key to Summit’s future

  • The new building will include traditional classrooms, a science lab, a learning kitchen, rooms for individualized education, an outdoor courtyard, admin offices, and a large commons area.

  • Based on teacher and student feedback, a separate location offers a distinctive high school experience, while still maintaining a sense of connection as a larger K-12 campus.

  • The growing middle school can transition to the existing Phase I HS Building for an improved learning environment for K-8

  • Summit’s financial sustainability goals aim to enroll 36 students per grade, with two sections of 18 to honor our commitment to small class sizes.

  • The new HS facility and the below transition of classrooms within our existing campus layout position the Summit for long-term success.
