Welcome to Second GradeSecond grade is a happy place. Mrs. Cox and Mrs, Bryson have 21 wonderful students. Sixteen boys and 5 girls. This creates an interesting classroom.
We have redone our outside classroom. The students did all of the work. We have bird feeders, bird feeders, rain gages and themometers. This is a fun place for us to maintain and learn in.
Reading is a major part of our day. We are taking reading counts tests and enjoying the books from authors that we feature. In second grade our goal is for the children to learn to love to read. We think we are accomplishing this goal.
A great portion of our day is spent in cooperative Groups or with our "Learning Pal". This makes learning exciting and fun There's always something to see in second grade!
